This is the homepage of the EU - Australia exchange programme: Learning through Exchange - Agriculture, Food Systems and Environment - in short LEAFSE. This 3-year project is designed to facilitate exchange of post-graduate students on a pilot scale between four institutions in EC countries and four in Australia. Under this programme Master's level students in the fields of agriculture, food systems and environment have the opportunity to study abroad. Students from EU can study for a semester at a partner university in Australia, and students from Australia can study for a semester at a partner university in EU. While participating students will choose from a wide range of courses within the fields of Agriculture, Food Systems and Environment, this project has chosen to keep the case of organic agriculture as a focal point, and through exchange and collaboration allowing students to obtain an integrated knowledge from the different contexts. The broad term Agriculture, Food Systems and Environment encompasses all endeavours connected to the production and consumption of food, with an overriding concern for the environment in which those activities are undertaken.

All the partner institutions have a strong education and research tradition in agriculture and natural resource management. Medium of instruction for all courses under this exchange programme will be English. The partners in the programme are:
